Lisandra Tena (Guera) was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She began her training at Working Classroom in Albuquerque and graduated magna cum laude from the prestigious Theatre School at DePaul University. Theatrical credits include Mother Road (Goodman Theater),Crime Scene: A Chicago Anthology and This Is Not a Cure for Cancer (Collaboraction Theater Company), Augusta and Noble (Adventure Stage), and Your Problem with Men (Los Angeles Theatre Center). Additional credits include her self-written one-woman show Guera (performed in Chicago, New Mexico, and Arizona). She has been in numerous films and television shows, commercials, voiceovers, and best known for her role as Lola Guerrero on the AMC horror drama series Fear The Walking Dead. 

She is a company member of Teatro Luna West. She will be guest starring on the CBS drama series Code Black.
